The National Police & Fire Foundation exists to encourage and support police officers, firefighters and their families across the country. They are America’s Everyday Heroes — they risk their lives daily in an effort to protect, serve and rescue. Police officers and firefighters are well-known as “first responders,” but underappreciated for being the last to leave.
The tax-exempt, non-profit NPFF works with police and fire associations nationwide to develop safety programs, public education, crisis communications support, critical fundraising, scholarships and compassionate aid to honor fallen heroes and assist their families.
The National Police & Fire Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, headquartered in Battle Ground, Wash. (greater Portland, Ore.). We are registered as a corporation in the State of Washington and duly licensed in each and every state where we assist local departments with fundraising efforts. The NPFF receives funding through private donations from individual police officers and fire fighters, citizens at large, organizations, corporations and other foundations.
